Fresh off the release of her debut CD “Teri Tims” last year and ranking #1 in Cashbox for 8 weeks with “Drop ya Like a Habit“, she’s back in the studio! Teri Tims, who was voted in the Top 20 Best Female Rock Vocalist by Fireworks Magazine, is currently recording a new Southern flavored AOR CD for an early 2016 release.

This one is going to even ROCK HARDER! Just great songs, great singing, and great playing!

If you haven’t had the chance to listen to her self-title debut album, be sure to head over to CD Baby to download a copy of the album today.

In anticipation to that release, Teri sat down with Dave Ling of Classic Rock Magazine. More Great Reviews on Dennis Churchill Dries ‘I’

The reviews on the Dennis Churchill Dries album ‘I’ continue to flood in.

Couple that with a solid vocal from the man himself, polished production and more that leans on his many years in the industry and this could easily be AOR album of the year.

– Justin Hulford, The RocktologistDennis Churchill Dries – I

‘I’ is the stuff of dreams – I mean Dennis Churchill Dries, the singer of White Sister/Tattoo Rodeo, teaming up with none other than Paul Sabu (as if he needs any introduction)? C’mon….. ‘I’ is everything you could ever wish for from an AOR album and so much more!

Thinking back to my own experience with finding new music via the wireless, I couldn’t help but feel a kinship with the author/singer. The production of Sabu is first class, as everything he touches, literally turns to greatness!

– Dave Prince, Uber RockDennis Churchill Dries – ‘I’ (AOR Heaven)

…[any one] who digs fantastic (mostly subdued) rock songs with a lot of emotion and truly phenomenal vocals, can’t get around this ‘I’ release. Especially title track ‘I’, ‘Home’, ‘Pieces’ and ‘So Good To See You’ are breathtakingly beautiful and therefore it’s great to see that Dennis Churchill Dries has returned to the scene. What an awesome singer….goosebumps!

Fireworks Magazine Online 69 – Interview with Frédéric Slama’s AOR

Last month, Alexandra Mrozowska of Fireworks Magazine caught up with French musician, songwriter and producer Frédéric Slama, who had recently released his 14th(!!) AOR album “Return To L.A.“.

Fireworks Magazine Online 69 - AOR Frederic Slama - Return to L.A.

After a little back and forth of how he [Slama] maintains such frequent high quality of albums, and how the album came to be, the conversation turned to the other contributors of the album and Paul Sabu‘s name came up.

Favorite line:

Paul knows exactly what I want (apart from women, money and drugs) so he knows perfectly well what to do to please me in term of arrangements, ideas or sounds. We discussed a lot the direction I wanted to give to ‘Return To L.A’ and after giving him one million dollars he thought all my ideas were pure genius ha! ha! Paul “The Legend” Sabu has worked with everybody from Shania Twain to David Bowie so he can adapt easily, that’s what makes him a top musician & producer.

– Alexandra Mrozowska, Fireworks Magazine Online 69 – Interview with Frédéric Slama’s AOR

Thanks Frédéric Slama for the shout out!

It’s certainly a good article by Fireworks Magazine Online on Slama and Return To L.A. to read. Be sure to check out the rest of it by clicking on Interview with Frédéric Slama’s AOR.

Also, feel free to listen to a sampler of AOR’s “Return To L.A.” with Frédéric Slama, Tommy Denander, and Paul Sabu.

Dennis Churchill Dries ‘I’ Being Released!

Dennis Churchill Dries, formerly lead vocalist/bassist of AOR’s White Sister & Tattoo Rodeo, is releasing his first solo project ‘I’ in the coming weeks. Paul Sabu contributed and produced the album, and it’s been receiving some awesome reviews already:

Dries cuts the listener with a fine slab of vintage rock and roll with tracks such as ‘Unbroken’ with some amazing guitar riffs from old partner in crime and producer Paul Sabu that make you just want to go and air guitar the F**k out of your street!

This guy has history and boy does it show; Every track has the feel of a rock n roll hall of fame and I’d be unwise to try and cloud your perceptions of some of the wonderful influences one can hear with the passing nods to the great and the good of rock.

Alan Walsh, Rock n Reel Reviews –Dennis Churchill Drive ‘I’

This is a proper AOR/melodic rock album, written and sung from the heart, not a contrived project and lets hope DCD returns to live action and continues to record. If you liked his previous bands and like melodic rock, simple buy this album.

Quiet Riot Brings the Bang Your Head Tour

Quiet Riot - Frankie Banali
My song writing partner on “Quiet Riot 10”: Frankie Banali

“By the time Quiet Riot took the stage, the show had already proven, beyond a reasonable doubt, that hard rock was back and touring with a vengeance. This alone, however, is only part of the news that has grabbed attention of Quiet Riot fans in 2014. Earlier in the year, Frankie Banali announced the release of the anticipated film titled Now You’re here, There’s No Way Back. The film features a deep and intrinsic look into the facts related to the history of the band and it details key moments that many long time fans weren’t aware of, as well as documenting the moments that made them a celebrated band and secured their place in the history of American hard rock.

Adding to a year that has re-established the band, just before the start of the tour, Quiet Riot released a new album featuring six tracks with Jizzy Pearl on vocals and four previously unreleased songs from live performances featuring Kevin DuBrow. “Titled 10″, the album became available on June 27th, 2014 to rave reviews. It marks the next chapter in the career of these artists that have entertained millions worldwide for decades, and celebrates the achievements of Kevin DuBrow, one of rocks finest front men, a stellar songwriter and an artist who was consistently at the top of his game.

Follow Quiet Riot online at their official website to learn about the tour coming to an area near you, to purchase the new album 10 or to find out when you can own a copy of the new film.”
